Job Details

At Cupid Compusoft, we are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about quality and testing. Your role will be to make sure our websites, apps, and software work smoothly without bugs. You’ll test features, find problems before users do, and help deliver a reliable, high-performance product.

Job Responsibilities

  • Test web and mobile applications to find bugs and performance issues.
  • Write and run manual and automated test cases to check new features.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers.
  • Report bugs clearly with screenshots, steps to reproduce, and priority level.
  • Help in creating test plans for each release and sprint.
  • Test across devices and browsers for responsive behavior.
  • Suggest improvements in product quality and user experience.

Job Requirements

  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering bug-free products.
  • Strong logical thinking and patience while testing.
  • A user-first mindset to test features like real users would.
  • Ability to work with developers and guide them with clear feedback.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.

Skill & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing (manual or automation).
  • Testing Tools: Should know how to use basic testing tools like Postman or any similar tools.
  • Bug Tracking: Experience with platforms like Jira, ClickUp, or any tool used to report and track bugs.
  • Testing Types: Good understanding of functional testing, UI testing, and basic regression or integration testing.
  • Automation (Optional): If you know basic automation scripts or testing frameworks, it’s a plus — not mandatory.
  • Browser & Device Testing: Able to test websites and apps on different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and mobile phones.
  • Agile Work Style: Experience working with small tech teams, planning and testing in short weekly or bi-weekly sprints, using tools like Jira or simple task trackers.
